JumpStart releases have lagged behind Tapestry's releases due to my intense work commitments, but the examples in JumpStart 7 are all still relevant.
With a bit of luck, JumpStart releases will catch up later this year (2022-2023).

About Min and Max
If you want to work with Tapestry 4.1.2 or 4.0.2, first choose between JumpStart Min and JumpStart Max:

  • JumpStart Min is a good place to start because it showcases the essence of Tapestry (and JPA).
  • JumpStart Max is for those who are already very comfortable digging their way around a Tapestry project. It includes localization, AJAX, Joda Time, back-button handling, backwards navigation, more screen types, more components, authorisation, client persistence strategies and useful entities (Roles, Users-Roles, Codes and Code Groups).
